The exterior surfaces may also be wiped with special wipes soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol or 75% ethyl alcohol.
Be even more careful with the mesh that covers the speakers and microphone. Wipe these areas with a dry cotton swab without applying too much pressure. To remove small dirt and improve sound quality, you can use a soft brush and, for example, a display cleaner with a small amount of alcohol. Spray the spray onto the brush and wipe the meshes gently. Remember that the liquid must not get inside the speakers.
The tips on how to clean AirPods Pro (1st and 2nd generation) are the same. The only difference is that AirPods Pro have silicone ear cushions. If water has accumulated in them, gently tap the earpiece against a soft cloth so that the earpiece "looks" downward.
The ear cushions themselves can be washed in water. Of course, you must first remove them from the headphones and not use household detergents! Then wipe them with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Only allow them to dry completely before putting them back on.
