The quality of Apple technology is beyond doubt — the company has already earned a good reputation as a reliable brand. The best components are used in the manufacturing process of iPhones, Watches, Macs, and other devices. But what if a malfunction occurs due to the company’s fault? In this case, you can take advantage of Apple’s standard warranty service. We will discuss the features of this service in Uzbekistan in our review.

What is Apple’s One-Year Warranty?

The best proof of high product quality is honest warranty service provided by the manufacturer. Apple, in turn, guarantees the high quality of its gadgets and provides 12 months after purchase and activation of the device to detect errors — the company indicates this on its website. By default, the warranty for iPhone, Watch, MacBook, and other devices is valid in case of manufacturing defects and malfunctions.

In such situations, it is best to contact a service center, where specialists will perform device diagnostics. Once a warranty case is confirmed, you will be offered a free repair (if possible). When the necessary parts are not in stock, the service center will specify the timeframe — usually up to 20 days.

If this option does not suit you, you can contact the seller with a request to replace the device with a similar new one. However, remember that each case is individual — only after diagnostics will the service engineer make a decision and offer you the available options.

This service applies not only to the device itself, but also to accessories. For example, the iPhone warranty also includes the possibility of repairing and replacing the cable that came with the device. The same applies to original accessories purchased separately.

Important: Apple’s warranty does not cover devices and software from other brands (e.g., third-party charging cables or adapters). Such products are covered by separate service terms and conditions provided by their manufacturers.

When Does the Apple Warranty Not Apply?

Service under the one-year warranty is not provided if the damage is related to improper use of the gadget. For example, if you spill tea on your MacBook, break your iPhone screen, or bend your iPad, the standard warranty does not apply in any of these cases.

But even in such situations, it is still important to contact official service centers. Otherwise, if repairs or unauthorized opening of the gadget are detected, the warranty will be void.

AppleCare+: What is This Service?

AppleCare+ is a subscription service that covers accidental damage to your gadgets. It works like insurance, and in some cases, there is a deductible, where you pay a small portion of the cost, and the manufacturer covers the rest of the damage. In some countries, packages are also available that cover theft and loss of equipment (up to two claims per year).

The extended AppleCare+ service is not yet available to owners of the brand’s devices in Uzbekistan. However, you can contact the official iSpace service center and have your MacBook, iPhone, AirPods, iPad, and other devices repaired. All work is carried out in accordance with the brand’s regulations, and our engineers use only original components and certified equipment.

Checking Your Service Eligibility: Step-by-Step Guide

If you don’t remember the exact date of purchase and want to find out when your warranty expires, follow these steps:

  1. Find the serial number in your device settings (“General” — “About This Device”) or on the box.
  2. Go to checkcoverage.apple.com.
  3. Enter the number you found in the special form.

Information about the device and the warranty service expiration date will appear here. By the way, you can use this website to check the authenticity of a used device. You can also view the warranty expiration date in the “AppleCare and Warranty” menu on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop — all gadgets associated with one Apple ID are listed here.

Possible Warranty Issues: What Situations May Arise

In some situations, you may be denied warranty service for Apple devices. For example, there are situations when “gray” stores import original devices intended for other regions, such as the US or Japan. In such cases, it is impossible to repair the gadget in Uzbekistan — the region for which the device is intended can be determined by its serial number.

The best option is to purchase the brand’s equipment from official resellers. One such store is iSpace — the only official Apple partner in Uzbekistan with Premium Reseller status. Advantages of our service center:

  • warranty and post-warranty service according to Apple standards;
  • availability of certified equipment for repair and replacement of parts;
  • use of original spare parts;
  • a staff of experienced engineers who work in accordance with company regulations.

By the way, we provide a 90-day warranty on components. You can contact our consultants at our physical store in Tashkent (Tashkent City Mall) for service. Or you can leave a request on the iSpace website or contact us via messengers.
